THANK YOU from the Street Family

Dear Rattlers, Rattler families and friends of both,
We just wanted to say a huge thank you to all who made the "James David Street Classic" this year so successful. For us to have our James honored in this way means more than you'll ever know. Terri and Scott you have showed us great love, sincerity and sensitivity in our more thoughtful moments. We appreciate your hard work on behalf of the kids and I know they all do. Baseball gets inside of you, becomes a part of your life but also teaches you so much about life. Words like respect, tolerance and dedication are often used by coaches such as yours and rightly; we saw a lot of that during the weekend from all the competitors. Another word, though, PASSION comes to our minds. This is what James demonstrated often and what we also saw a lot of at the tournament. A passion for something is needed to succeed at anything and it was heartening to see so much of it down at the ball park. Thank you for keeping James' name alive in this way and introducing him and his passion to a whole new generation of players.

James was a true Yankee fan!
He played baseball with great intensity and inspired others to do the same.
Welcome and I hope you enjoy meeting James David Street.
He was a unique young man that will never be forgotten.
We hope to always honor his love of life and his love of baseball.
